If you’re feeling wiped out, down and out or are seriously considering walking out, Chris Pratt may have just the words to lift your spirit.

The Jurassic Park star took to Instagram the other night at 3:20am while en route on an Atlanta highway. (Not to worry—Pratt was the passenger.) Even though the opening of his post may sound like the delirious ramblings of an exhausted individual, the 36-year-old TV and film actor who’s married to Anna Faris had something meaningful he wanted to share with the public.

After explaining that he was awake for roughly 77 hours working on two upcoming movies—Guardians of the Galaxy and Passengers—he complimented his crew, referring to them as ‘the best” and “total rock stars.”

And then he took a moment to reflect on his gratitude. (Warning: Get ready for the goosebumps.)

“I felt like posting this to say to anyone out there chasing your dream…Fifteen years ago I felt the same passion I feel today, but I had very little opportunity. I had to hustle hard and go hungry. I had to eat sardines and figure out how to get gas money. And I never had a plan B. I never stopped believing. Ever. Don’t give up. Apply constant pressure for as long as it takes. It will break before you do. Go get it.”

By the way, if you think he’s exaggerating about having gone without food, think again. Before his career took off, Pratt was homeless and lived in a run down van. This guy is speaking from experience—and from his heart.

So thank you, Chris Pratt, for not falling asleep during your middle-of-the-night car ride and instead choosing to share your inspirational words of wisdom with all of us. We’re the grateful ones.

Happy #MotivationMonday
