Commuters received a surprise during their usual trek on Monday thanks to Willow Smith.
The 18-year-old daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith was spotted in the Tottenham Court Road train station in central London singing and playing guitar.
Wearing a hard-to-miss, bright pink outfit, Smith's performance was to help promote the launch of Prada's Autumn/Winter 2019 Linea Rossa collection
"Completely unexpected by the audience, raw and spontaneous, this moment was a celebration of the transient nature of our real life experiences, the performance of the everyday," the designer label wrote in a statement on Instagram.
Days before, Prada teased on social media that a special announcement was coming and then confirmed Smith was promoting its latest clothing line.
"Unexpected by the audience. Unannounced," the brand wrote in another Instagram post. "@WillowSmith makes her way to the Central Red Line on the London’s Tube to do something that has never been done before. "
The new Linea Rossa line includes a wide variety of women's, men's, and unisex clothing.
"Tied to the themes of the Fall/Winter 2019 runway collection, the new Linea Rossa collection is recolored in military tones of field green and battleship grey, underscoring uniform roots that have always inspired the range in complimentary styles for men and women," Prada notes in a statement featured on the "Pradaspehere" section of the brand's website.
