A U.S. official told ABC News that there was another attack on a U.S. base in eastern Syria Friday, following a drone attack on Thursday, but that no damage or injuries resulted from the most recent attack. The official said the Friday attack was from indirect fire, which typically means it was a rocket attack. The U.S. military conducted retaliatory airstrikes in eastern Syria on Thursday against Iranian-backed groups after a drone strike targeting a U.S. base in the region killed a U.S. contractor and injured six others, including five U.S. service members, the Pentagon said.

Corcoran was expected to testify as soon as Friday, sources said, after an appeals court ruled Wednesday that Corcoran must testify in the special counsel's probe into Trump's handling of classified materials after leaving the White House.
A Tennessee dog walked itself home after its visually impaired owner was struck and killed by a pickup truck on their morning walk, police said. A 50-year-old woman with vision impairment was walking her dog across a bridge on Rio Vista Drive when she was hit, according to the Nashville Police Department. After the incident, police officers went to a nearby apartment complex where the victim lived and found her dog unharmed, sitting at her front door.
Conservationist and TV personality Bindi Irwin is speaking out about her debilitating battle with endometriosis. "It was just wild and the pain, fatigue, nausea that I was feeling, it was tackling my whole life," Irwin said in a new video message just two weeks after undergoing surgery for the disease. A Florida woman has filed a lawsuit against the maker of eye drops that were recalled after they were found to be contaminated and allegedly left her legally blind. Clara Oliva, 68, of Miami, is seeking damages from Global Pharma Healthcare, which manufactures EzriCare Artificial Tears, as well as the medical center that prescribed her the eye drops and her insurer. Oliva is one of at least 68 Americans who have used eye drops later found to be contaminated with a drug-resistant form of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, an aggressive bacterium, and developed infections, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Chicago residents are demanding answers after two missing women were found dead in their Southwest Side neighborhood in recent weeks -- and a teenager now appears to be missing. "It's hard to believe and hard to comprehend that in the year 2023, we still find bodies of dead women and no answers," Little Village resident Selene Partida said during a press conference Wednesday held outside the area's Chicago Police Department detective division headquarters. In February, a recent Guatemalan migrant, 20-year-old Reyna Cristina Ical Seb, was found shot to death in a Little Village alley, Chicago ABC station WLS reported.
A Wyoming judge temporarily blocked a state abortion ban, prohibiting the state and its employees from enforcing the ban. The temporary restraining order will remain in effect unless it is dissolved or modified by a court order, according to court documents. Wyoming also became the first state to ban abortion pills, separate from all abortion services, last week in a bill signed into law by Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon.
Langston University has announced the clearance of over $4.5 million in student debt balances. The historically black institution will, for the second time, use funding from the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) to cancel student account balances. The first time Langston University canceled student account balances was in August 2021, with a clearance amount of $4,654,112.
