Michael Cohen told jurors that then-Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg told him to "gross up" his requested reimbursement for the $130,000 Stormy Daniels payment to ensure that Cohen got the full amount of money spent, after taxes.

As the Israel-Hamas war crosses the seven-month mark, renewed negotiations are underway to secure the release of hostages taken by the terrorist organization, as Israeli forces continue to prepare for an apparent invasion of the southern Gazan town of Rafah. National security adviser Jake Sullivan stressed the U.S. is working "urgently and relentlessly" to get a hostage deal in place, but did not have any major progress to share Monday. David Sanborn, Grammy-winning multi-genre saxophonist, dead at 78
Grammy-winning saxophonist David Sanborn, who was celebrated for his decades of work that spanned multiple genres and included collaborations with some of music's greatest artists, passed away Sunday, his representative confirmed to ABC News. "It is with sad and heavy hearts that we convey to you the loss of internationally renowned, 6 time Grammy Award-winning, saxophonist, David Sanborn," read a post on Sanborn's official Facebook page, announcing that he died "after an extended battle with prostate cancer with complications." "Mr. Sanborn had been dealing with prostate cancer since 2018, but had been able to maintain his normal schedule of concerts until just recently," the post continued.

Haley, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under Trump, is still not expected to endorse her former ally, now the presumptive Republican nominee, at the meetings or to ask donors to give to other campaigns.

"Organizations like ISIS may seek to exploit increased gatherings associated with the upcoming June 2024 Pride Month," according to the announcement, which the agencies issued last week. The announcement added that the threat is "compounded" by the "current heightened threat environment" in the United States.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires reaches US, Minnesota under air quality alert
With over 100 active wildfires burning in Canada, wildfire smoke has drifted across the border into the United States, prompting Minnesota officials to issue the state's first air quality alert of 2024. At least 37 of the 141 active fires burning in Canadian wildfires have been labeled "out of control," including one that started on Friday in British Columbia and has since spread to 4,200 acres, forcing the evacuation of the small town of Fort Nelson, and the Fort Nelson Indian Reserve, officials said. Most of the active wildfires, at least 90, are in British Columbia and Alberta provinces.

McDonald's may consider $5 value meal as food prices continue to soar
McDonald's could soon be lowering prices and possibly launching a new value meal to its menus. The Golden Arches currently offer some individual items on its $1, $2, $3 menu, but it may be rolling out a new value meal with a McChicken or McDouble, fries and a drink for just $5, as Bloomberg first reported.
