Typically, scattered showers in Florida are no big deal, but with so many locations recently picking up 1 to 2 feet of rain, any showers today could lead to more flooding. Over the last seven days, Miami and Fort Lauderdale have both officially seen more than 14 inches of rainfall. Sunday is finally looking like a "mostly" dry day for the South Florida region, although there is always a chance for a pop-up thunderstorm for this area.

Biden was walking Commander in the Kennedy Garden on Sept. 12, 2023, when the dog bit a Secret Service agent who approached the president to help him with something, the records obtained by conservative activist group Judicial Watch and reviewed by ABC News show.

Greek officials are looking for an American tourist who went missing this week while they were visiting an island off the coast, just days after another U.S. tourist went missing while vacationing nearby. The unidentified missing man was last seen Tuesday at a tavern in Mathraki, located west of Corfu Island, where he was staying with a Greek American friend, investigators told ABC News. Mathraki has no police station or coast guard so officers from Corfu had to be called in to assist with the investigation.
The Justice Department on Friday said it has declined to prosecute Attorney General Merrick Garland for contempt of Congress, according to a letter obtained by ABC News. The House of Representatives voted Wednesday to send a contempt referral to the Justice Department. House Republicans had demanded Garland turn over the audio of President Joe Biden's interview with special counsel Robert Hur to the House Oversight and Judiciary committees and Garland refused.
As Donald Trump turns 78 on Friday, his campaign is trying to paint 2024 rival President Joe Biden as mentally incompetent by distorting a moment from Biden's trip overseas this week to the G7 summit that has gone viral on social media. "From Italy to the United Kingdom to New York, millions of people around the world woke up to headlines about Crooked Joe Biden's cognitive decline on full display at the G7 Summit," Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt wrote in a statement. Leavitt was referring to a skydiving demonstration Biden attended on Thursday alongside other world leaders gathered in Italy.
The World Health Organization confirmed Friday that Mexican authorities believe the man with a rare human case of bird flu actually died from other co-morbidities. On June 5, the WHO shared an update that a 59-year-old patient died with the H5N2 strain of bird flu, or avian influenza. It was the first laboratory-confirmed human case of the H5N2 strain reported globally and the first-ever reported case in Mexico.
