A variety of Platinum Jubilee events commemorating Elizabeth's 70th anniversary have been scheduled over the next few days.

In addition to Thursday's Trooping the Color military parade and beacon lighting ceremony, and Friday's church service, celebrants may also look forward to a Sunday pageant, a horse race at Epsom Downs, and a massive concert on Saturday evening.

The Platinum Party at the Palace concert will feature performances from music icons like Rod Stewart, Elton John, Queen + Adam Lambert, Duran Duran, Diana Ross and several others.

McCartney is currently touring the U.S. and is not slated to perform. His next concert stop will take place the same day, Saturday, June 4, in Syracuse, New York.
