Olivia Newton-John's husband, daughter pay tribute to the late actress

Olivia Newton-John's husband, John Easterling, and only child, daughter Chloe Lattanzi, are paying tribute to the late actress.

Easterling on Wednesday shared a moving letter he penned to his late wife to her social media pages alongside a photo of them together.

"Our love for each other transcends our understanding. Every day we expressed our gratitude for this love that could be so deep, so real, so natural. We never had to 'work' on it," he wrote. "We were in awe of this great mystery and accepted the experience of our love as past, present and forever."

Easterling called Newton-John "the most courageous woman I've ever known," adding that she was a "healer using her mediums of song, of words, of touch" and that her caring nature always wowed him.

"In her most difficult times she always had the spirit, the humor, and the will power to move things into the light," he continued. "Even now as her soul soars, the pain and holes in my heart are healed with the joy of her love and the light that shines forward."

Lattanzi, whom Newton-John shared with ex-husband Matt Lattanzi, shared a heartfelt message to Instagram on Tuesday alongside a clip from the music video of their duet, "Window in the Wall," which was released last year.

"You are my lighthouse mama. My safe place. My heart space. It has been my honor and continues to be my honor to be your baby and best friend," Lattanzi, 36, wrote in the caption. "You are an angel on earth and everyone touched by you has been blessed. I love you forever my life giver, my teacher, my mama."

Newton-John, best known for her roles in "Grease" and "Xanadu," as well as her music career, died Monday at the age of 73. Easterling, revealed her passing in a statement posted to her social media pages.

Lattanzi reacted to the loss of her mother at the time by taking to Instagram and sharing a slideshow of photos of them throughout the years.

Three days before her mother's death, Lattanzi posted a photo of them together on Instagram and wrote, "I worship this woman. My mother. My best friend."
