Mark Hamill introduces the galaxy to his new rescue dog, Molly Mae

Mark Hamill welcomed a new addition to his family, announcing on Monday he's opened his home to a rescue pup.

The "Star Wars" star shared a series of photos showing off his new small black-and-white dog being cuddled by members of his family. He also revealed he has decided to call her Molly Mae.

"Say hello to the latest addition to the family," Hamill captioned the post. "She's the tiny (but fierce) ball of fur we call Molly Mae Hamill."

The 69-year-old actor revealed Molly Mae came from the Tobie's Small Dog Rescue, a nonprofit based in Los Angeles.

Hamill's family has since shared their photos and thoughts on their newest fur baby, with his daughter Chelsea declaring "I’m in love" before quickly joking, "don’t tell Millie or Mabel."
