For its annual list of the country's richest self-made women, which debuted in June, Forbes named the Fenty Beauty founder the youngest self-made billionaire woman, a title previously given to reality star and businesswoman Kylie Jenner. Jenner, then 21, was named the youngest-ever self-made billionaire in 2019 -- surpassing Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, who won the title at 23 -- but Forbes later revoked that title, releasing an article claiming that the reality star and beauty business owner's billionaire status and financial documents, on which her title relied, had been skewed.

The Fulton County special grand jury investigating possible criminal interference in Georgia's 2020 elections issued subpoenas Tuesday for Rudy Giuliani, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and several others in former President Donald Trump's orbit. Others who were issued subpoenas include John Eastman, Cleta Mitchell, Kenneth Chesbro and Jenna Ellis, all of whom advised Trump on ways to overturn President Joe Biden's win in Georgia.
Amber Smith, the wife of country music star Granger Smith, is opening up about grief, living with loss and water safety three years after her son River died following a drowning accident. In 2019, the Smith family were outside their home when River, who was 3 at the time, slipped through their home pool gate and went into the water. Eric Holder has been convicted of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of rapper Nipsey Hussle. Aaron Jansen, Holder's attorney, told ABC News that there was "deep disappointment" about the conviction. "It was always going to be tough given the high profile circumstances surrounding the case," Jansen said.
White House communications director Kate Bedingfield plans to depart in late July, according to administration officials. A 16-year-old boy is being hailed as a hero after he helped rescue four people when a car drove off a boat launch and into a Mississippi river. The incident happened Sunday at around 2:30 a.m., when the car, which had three teenage girls inside, drove into the Pascagoula River in Moss Point, floated about 20 feet away from shore and started sinking, the Moss Point Police Department said in a statement. Corion Evans, 16, said he immediately ran over, took off his shoes and shirt and went into the water when he saw the car sinking and heard the three occupants shouting for help.

Popular e-cigarette manufacturer Juul Labs, Inc. has been left in limbo after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration said it is temporarily pausing a ban on the company’s products. The federal health agency announced Tuesday on Twitter that it was issuing an administrative stay because "there are scientific issues unique to the Juul application that warrant additional review." This means the ban of Juul’s products is temporarily suspended, not rescinded.

Helen Jones has been searching for answers since her son died in 2009 while in custody at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. Jones said she was initially told by law enforcement that her 22-year-old son, John Horton, had died by suicide, but a forensic pathologist from the medical examiner’s office showed her that Horton's medical report included evidence of physical trauma. Jones filed a wrongful death lawsuit in 2015.
Former White House counsel Pat Cipollone has reached a deal with the House's Jan. 6 committee to testify in a transcribed interview on Friday, according to sources familiar with the matter. The committee had issued a subpoena to Cipollone last week after talks to have him testify publicly were not successful. Cipollone was one of the few aides with former President Donald Trump on the day of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot and has significant insight into events before, leading up to and after the insurrection.

The National Weather Service reports that temperatures ranging from the upper 90s to the low 100s are expected across Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, eastern Tennessee and Arkansas on Wednesday and Thursday. There have been more than 250 damaging storm reports from Montana to South Carolina, including three tornadoes in Virginia, Maryland and Colorado, according to the NWS.
The 21-year-old man accused of opening fire at a suburban Chicago Fourth of July parade, killing seven people and injuring dozens of others, plotted another attack in Madison, Wisconsin, authorities said Wednesday. After fleeing the scene of the parade, Robert "Bobby" Crimo III "was driving around, saw a celebration in Madison," and "contemplated another attack," with "60 rounds on his body at that point," authorities said at a news conference Wednesday. After returning from Wisconsin, Crimo was apprehended at at traffic stop in Lake Forrest, Illinois, Monday evening.
