Nina Dobrev had a severe allergic reaction that landed her in the emergency room.
Fortunately, the actress, 30, had close friend Julianne Hough by her side throughout the ordeal and is now recovering.
Hough posted a series of snaps on Instagram from Dobrev's visit to the ER, which had many fans concerned over the star's health.
"Who would I be at the Emergency Room with on a Sunday night?! Thank god I went to visit this little sheesh!" Hough wrote on social media.
Dobrev took to her own account Monday to give her followers an update.
"A lot of people have expressed concern after seeing Julianne's story. I'm okay," she wrote in an Instagram story.
"It's pretty routine/has happened to me quite a few times because I have a lot of allergies," she continued. "Depending on the severity I sometimes go into anaphylactic shock as a result. But Jules was with me and the doctors at Cedars were AMAZING so back at home now, and I'm OK."
She also assured her fans that she appreciated their support and kind words.
"I'm fine, and I'll be fine! Xo," she added.
Dobrev and Hough have been friends for years and often post about their appreciation for one another.
In a birthday message to Hough in July, Dobrev wrote: "You bring so much beautiful energy into the world, your smile lights up every single room you walk into, and it puts my soul at ease."
