'GMA' savings guide: Discounts and freebies on food, fun and more to help you save

As prices on everyday items continue to rise, it's more important than ever to find ways to get more with less.

Some businesses and retailers have small perks, discounts, and in some cases even freebies, that all add up and can help your bottom line.

"Good Morning America" has rounded up a selection of current nationwide offers available through rewards programs to giveaways and more to help you save. As always, contact retailers for any questions and read the fine print. New discounts will be added, so be sure to save this page.

Food and drinks

Caribou Coffee: Drink discounts starting at $1 on Mondays.

Caribou Coffee knows that Mondays may require a little extra caffeine to get you through the day. This summer, the coffee chain is offering a weekly #MonDaymaker, an incremental discount on one drink of the coffee shop's choosing. A small order starts at just $1, a medium $2, a large $3 and an XL for $4, minus customizations. The deal runs every Monday through Aug. 15.

Carl's Jr. & Hardee's: Perks for rewards members. The fast-food chain has a new rewards program and customers who join will get their choice of a free Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Famous Star, or Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich just for signing up.

Domino's Pizza: $5.99 Mix & Match two or more menu items.

The pizza chain has an ongoing Mix & Match Deal that allows customers to order any two or more items from its menu for $5.99 each when carrying out. The deal includes a selection of medium two-topping pizzas, breads such as stuffed cheesy bread, chicken, salads, sandwiches and more. Domino's also has an assortment of additional coupons available on its site for online ordering.

Jimmy John's: Free subs for rewards members.

When customers join the sandwich shop's Freaky Fast Rewards program, they can earn a free eight-inch sandwich after the first order through the app.

Krispy Kreme: Original glazed dozen for 85 cents with the purchase of a regular-priced box.

To celebrate the doughnut chain's 85th birthday, Krispy Kreme announced it will randomly select multiple customers who visit each day from July 11 to July 14 to receive a card worth free Original Glazed doughnuts for a year.

The winners of the card will get one dozen donuts per month through June 2023.

“We love celebrating Krispy Kreme’s birthday every year with our fans. But this year is special, we’re turning 85. So we’re going to have a weeklong celebration by giving 8,500 people a year’s worth of free Original Glazed doughnuts,” Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme's chief marketing officer, said in a press release. "And on Friday you can get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just 85 cents when you buy any dozen."

Plus, on July 15, Krispy Kreme fans can get an Original Glazed dozen for just 85 cents with the purchase of any regular price dozen.

SONIC Drive-In: $2.99 medium shark week slush.

To celebrate the iconic Discovery Channel Shark Week, SONIC Drive-In has brought back its cool Shark Week Slush.

"By layering our tropical, blue coconut Slush with real, juicy strawberries and shark gummy candies, our culinary team has created a tasty and visually thrilling treat that will mentally transport guests to their favorite oceanside destination," said Mackenzie Gibson, vice president of culinary and menu innovation at SONIC. You can purchase a medium Slush for $2.99 through July 31.

Steak n' Shake: Half-off drinks and shakes during Happy Hour.

Happy Hour isn't only for cocktails. Steak n' Shake offers half off drinks and shakes from 2-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Shake Shack: Buy-one-get-one shakes during Milkshake Happy Hour.

If Shake Shack is more your speed, customers can earn a free milkshake with any shake ordered online or through the app during their Milkshake Happy Hour. The promotion runs weekdays from 2 - 5p.m. until Aug. 31.

Wendy's: To satisfy your salty and sweet cravings, order a Wendy's Frosty on the app and get a medium fries for free through July 31.

Chipotle: Get 1-cent guacamole on National Avocado Day.

In honor of National Avocado Day, July 31, Chipotle is offering 1-cent guacamole to all rewards members who use the promo code "AVO2022" at checkout on the Chipotle app and website.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Get six free boneless or traditional wings on National Wing Day.

Buffalo Wild Wings is offering six free boneless or traditional wings to restaurant goers who dine-in and spend $10 or more on July 29, National Wing Day. One member of its Blazin' Rewards program who checks-in with the app will also win free wings for a year.

Jamba: $5 medium Watermelon Breeze Smoothie on National Watermelon Day.

Jamba has a few ongoing sweet smoothie deals. In honor of National Watermelon Day on Aug. 3, smoothie lovers can get a medium Watermelon Breeze for $5. To extend the holiday celebrations, Jamba will continue to offer a $5 medium Classic or Plant-Based Watermelon Breeze smoothie every Saturday and Sunday through Aug. 21.

Entertainment and Activities

AMC Theaters: $5 movie deals on Tuesdays.

Just in time for summer blockbuster season, the movie theater chain is offering customers $5 movie deals every Tuesday through October to members of its free AMC Stubs ticket program.

Ticketmaster: Score summer concert and sports tickets for less.

For those wanting to see a concert or sporting event, check out Ticketmaster's Ticket Deals. The company has a number of promos such as 2-for-1 tickets or Me+3, a discounted price for four tickets, specific to your area.

National Park Service: Free admission to all parks on Aug. 4.

The National Park Service is offering free admission to all 423 national parks on Aug. 4, to mark the anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act, which was enacted on Aug. 4, 2020. If you can't make it out to the parks on this date, the National Park Service is offering another fee-free day for National Public Lands Day, Sept. 24.

Travel

Marriott: Receive a $25 gas credit with Marriott's Gas and Go promotion.

To help with high gas prices, Marriott is offering a $25 credit to travelers through their Gas and Go promotion. The offer is available at 17 Marriott locations across the country and runs until Sept. 5.

Disney: Disney+ subscribers can save up to 25% on rooms at Disney Resort hotels.

Disney, the parent company of "Good Morning America," is offering up to 25% off rooms at select Disney Resort hotels to Disney+ subscribers. The offer lasts until Sept. 30.

Alaska Airlines: Find flights for as little as $59 with Saver Fares.

Alaska Airlines is trying to make chaotic summer travel a little easier. With their Saver Fares, travelers can find flights starting at $59 to select destinations across the country. While the deadlines to secure the discounted rates vary, some offers are running until July 25.

Hertz: Travelers ages 50 and over receive 20% off rentals. Hertz's Fifty Plus program allows customers over the age of 50 to save 20% off base rates for rental cars.

Princess Cruises: Kids sail free on select 2023 cruises.

Princess Cruises is working to make family vacations more affordable with their "Kids Sail Free offer," which allows up to two kids sharing a stateroom onboard to sail for free. The offer stands on a variety of 2023 cruises, including a trip to the Caribbean, and is available when you book through August 15.

VRBO: Save 20% when you book a new listing on the vacation home rental site.

VRBO has millions of vacation home listings across the world. The company offers 20% off rental fees for new listings posted to the site. This helps both renters and property owners alike: New properties are more likely to be discovered and receive reviews from renters, and vacationers can save on their nightly rate. It's a win-win!
