Two monkeys that were reported missing from the Dallas Zoo on Monday have been found, zoo officials announced. The Dallas Police Department found the emperor tamarin monkeys on Tuesday and alerted zoo officials. The missing monkeys was the latest in a series of animal incidents to rock the Dallas Zoo this month, resulting in police seeking the public’s help.
The Dallas Zoo has been struck by a string of suspicious incidents in recent weeks that are under criminal investigation. A clouded leopard named Nova escaped from its enclosure after its fence was "intentionally cut," zoo officials said. The Dallas Police Department was on-site assisting with the search efforts, and the leopard was eventually located around 4:40 p.m. local time on the zoo grounds near the original habitat.
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences CEO says that “To Leslie” star Andrea Riseborough’s best actress Oscar nomination will not be rescinded after many questioned the way she earned the recognition. In a statement, from Academy CEO Bill Kramer addressing the controversy and the film’s campaigning tactics, Kramer said, “The academy has determined the activity in question does not rise to the level that the film’s nomination should be rescinded.” Kramer did however say that the academy found “social media and outreach campaigning tactics that caused concern” and that the tactics “are being addressed with the responsible parties directly.”
Benjamin Obadiah Foster, 36, is wanted by the Grants Pass Police Department for attempted murder, kidnapping and assault. A man police believe to be Foster was spotted walking a small dog in the Grants Pass area Tuesday morning, the department said in a new update. "It's essentially an all-hands-on-deck operation," Grants Pass Police Chief Warren Hensman told ABC News.

The State Department has informed Congress that Russia is no longer meeting obligations set by the only nuclear arms control pact shared by two powers, putting a rare area of cooperation between Washington and Moscow at risk. "Russia is not complying with its obligation under the New START Treaty to facilitate inspection activities on its territory," a spokesperson for the department said in a statement. "Russia's refusal to facilitate inspection activities prevents the United States from exercising important rights under the treaty and threatens the viability of U.S.-Russian nuclear arms control."

Emergency responders and radiation specialists are frantically searching for a tiny capsule filled with Caesium-137, at 8 millimeters tall and 6 millimeters in diameter, along a 22-mile busy freight route in the regions of Pilbara, Midwest Gascoyne, Goldfields-Midlands and Perth Metropolitan, according to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services Western Australia.
As Rep. George Santos continues to face mounting scrutiny over fabricating large swaths of his biography, multiple men have described to ABC News past relationships with the New York congressman -- some allegedly occurring when they were still teenagers -- that they said turned toxic due to a flood of lies that Santos told to try to manipulate and trap them. The new allegations come as Santos on Tuesday informed his Republican colleagues at a closed-door conference meeting that he would be recusing himself from committee assignments. The FBI searched the Penn Biden Center in November after President Joe Biden's lawyers reported finding classified documents at a former office he used there, according to three sources familiar with the situation. It is unclear if the FBI discovered any additional documents during the search, which was done in coordination with Biden's lawyers and occurred after his aides disclosed to the National Archives that classified documents were found at his old office on Nov. 2, sources said. According to one source, the FBI checked the center to make sure all Biden-related documents were retrieved.

Priscilla Presley is contesting the "authenticity and validity" of a "purported 2016 amendment" to late daughter Lisa Marie Presley's living trust. According to court documents, filed Jan. 26 and obtained by ABC News, Lisa Marie Presley, who died Jan. 12, "executed a revocable living trust," known as The Promenade Trust, in 1993. "Both the 1993 original trust and 2010 restatement appear to be carefully drafted by competent estate planning attorneys," Priscilla Presley says in the new court documents.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has vetoed a bill that would have overhauled the state's 175-year-old wrongful death statute, angering some families whose elderly loved ones were killed in a Buffalo supermarket mass shooting. The Grieving Families Act would have allowed courts to consider grief and loss when determining how much a family can be compensated by insurance companies, regardless of the income-earning potential of the deceased. The law would have also extended the time permitted to bring a wrongful death action to court by 18 months and allow families to claim compensation for funeral expenses and loss of companionship.
Embattled GOP Rep. George Santos told House Republicans during a closed door meeting on Tuesday that he would recuse himself from sitting on any committees. Santos was recently assigned two committees -- the House Small Business Committee and the House Science, Space and Technology Committee. Leaving the House Republican meeting, Speaker Kevin McCarthy confirmed that Santos said he would recuse himself from committees but indicated if he were to fill the committee seats, it would be on a temporary basis.
