Former professional race car driver, Danica Patrick, shared a heartfelt birthday note for her boyfriend, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who turned 36 on Monday.
In the post, the former professional racing driver, who now hosts the podcast “Pretty Intense," explained how much Rodgers means to her and everything she is grateful to him for.
"Happy birthday to my best friend and favorite person in the world!!!!!" she wrote. "You are the one I want to tell my best and worst days to first."
"I am so grateful the universe made you!!! The star dust started it all, but you have done nothing but make it better every year of your life," she continued.
She also thanked him for being, "the loving, generous, thoughtful, patient, fun, funny, spontaneous, talented, smart, and uber attractive man, that I get to walk through life with."
"This journey we are on.... it’s a really really good one," she ended the note. "I love you."
The couple are longtime friends, but publicly confirmed their relationship at the beginning of 2018.
In a November 2019 appearance on "Strahan, Sara and Keke," Patrick spoke about how she sometimes gets nervous when she's watching him play.
"I especially get nervous when he's still holding onto the ball," she shared with a laugh. "Let go of the ball! Stop holding on to the ball! Somebody is coming at you."
