In an exclusive interview with ABC News Chief Justice Correspondent Pierre Thomas in Tulsa, Oklahoma -- which next month will mark the 100th anniversary the nation's worst race massacre -- Garland sought to tie the attacks by a white mob against the city's Black residents to the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City 26 years ago. "This is a moment where it's important, you know, to come to a place like this," Garland said.

The Nike Refurbished program gives shoppers the opportunity to give new life to previously purchased shoes. To participate in Nike's refurbished program, customers simply return shoes to a Nike store and experts inspect and grade the footwear.

All adults in the United States are eligible for COVID-19 vaccines starting Monday, with all 50 states and Washington, D.C., meeting the April 19 deadline President Joe Biden had set for opening eligibility. The April 19 deadline had been moved up from the May 1 goal Biden initially set for all adults to qualify for vaccination. The increased eligibility comes as the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine is on pause while a federal advisory committee evaluates a possible link to a rare but severe blood clotting disorder.

A former sheriff's deputy is in custody after three people were killed in what authorities are calling a domestic incident in Austin, Texas, on Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, Joseph Chacon, the interim police chief of the Austin Police, told reporters that the alleged suspect, Stephen Nicholas Broderick, 41, was on the run and was considered "armed and dangerous." Broderick -- a former deputy at the Travis County Sheriff's Department -- was apprehended on Monday, shortly before 7 a.m. local time, in Manor, Texas, which is about 20 miles outside of Austin, said Manor police.

All systems were a go as NASA made history on the red planet Monday. The agency launched its Ingenuity helicopter into the atmosphere of Mars around 3:30 am ET, marking the first powered, controlled flight of an aircraft on another planet. The four-pound helicopter, which landed on the planet with the Perseverance rover in February, tested flight conditions in the planet's atmosphere, which is colder and has different levels of gravity.
A suspected poacher has been trampled to death after accidentally running into a herd of breeding elephants while trying to flee from authorities. The incident occurred on Saturday, April 17, in Kruger National Park in northeastern South Africa when field rangers were out on a routine patrol of the Phabeni area of the more than 7,500 square mile reserve when they said they detected incoming spoor -- the track or scent of something -- and decided to follow up on it, according to a statement from Kruger National Park. It was shortly after that the rangers saw three alleged poachers in the park.

"The phenomenon of fast fashion -- started from the beginning of the millennium -- has had the objective of feeding this fast-paced ultra-consumerism world that all people want is a huge selection of clothes at affordable pricing with new items popping up every other week," Lucia Scarampi, co-founder of slow fashion brand Marta Scarampi, told "GMA."

The Biden administration over the weekend shuttered a Houston warehouse that housed unaccompanied migrant children following allegations that the nonprofit organization running the site failed to provide adequate living conditions for hundreds of young girls, multiple sources familiar with the matter told ABC News. Until its closure, the facility had been run by a Houston-based nonprofit with no prior experience housing unaccompanied migrant children. A spokesperson for the nonprofit would neither confirm nor deny these allegations to ABC News.
