This 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards was full of glitz, glamour and many unforgettable moments.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America, or CFDA, hosted its annual award ceremony in partnership with Amazon Fashion Monday evening at New York City's Casa Cipriani to celebrate those who championed innovation and excellence within the American fashion industry this year.

Everyone from the Kardashian-Jenner family to notables such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Cher, Lenny Kravitz, Keke Palmer and many more were in attendance for the 60th anniversary of the star-studded occasion.

Kim Kardashian

The reality star and businesswoman, who was awarded Amazon's Innovation Award for her SKIMS solutionwear brand, was hard to miss in a strapless, shiny Dolce & Gabbana dress.

Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner posed for a cute mother-daughter snap on the white carpet. Kris Jenner wore a long-sleeve black Schiaparelli dress while Kylie Jenner donned an alluring Mugler ensemble and updo hairstyle.

Kendall Jenner

The second oldest of the Jenner sisters wore a sparkling white gown from Khaite.

Aurora James and Shannon Abloh

Shannon Abloh accepted a posthumous Board of Trustees Award on behalf of her late husband Virgil Abloh. She posed alongside CFDA member and co-host Aurora James.

Law Roach and Kerry Washington

Celebrity stylist Law Roach had a sweet moment on the red carpet with Kerry Washington. Roach also received the CFDA's inaugural Stylist Award.

Halle Bailey

The singer commanded attention in a beautiful pink dress from Carolina Herrera's Spring/Summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection. She topped the look with a braided updo and green drop earrings.

Diane Von Furstenberg

Keke Palmer

Ella Emhoff

The model and stepdaughter of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris rocked a stylish black Khaite dress along with a Puppets and Puppets bag that had a chocolate chip cookie printed on it.

Katie Holmes

Holmes sparkled in a stunning dress from Jonathan Simkhai's Spring/Summer 2023 ready-to-wear line.

Gigi Hadid

Hadid certainly made a statement wearing a multicolored Thom Browne ensemble and dark gray lipstick.

14-year-old girl killed, 5 other teens hurt in Buffalo shooting: Police
A 14-year-old girl was killed and five other teenagers were injured when a shooting erupted Saturday night outside a house party in Buffalo, New York, several blocks from the supermarket where a 2022 mass shooting occurred, according to police. The shooting unfolded just after 11 p.m. in Buffalo's East Side neighborhood where "several hundred" teenagers were gathered for a party, police said. No arrests were announced as of Sunday afternoon.

Abducted infant and suspect who allegedly killed 2 women, injured child remain missing: Police
An urgent search remains underway Sunday in Clovis, New Mexico, after police say a 10-month-old baby was abducted, two women were found dead with apparent gunshot wounds -- including the child's mother -- and the mother's 5-year-old child was injured after sustaining a gunshot on the scene. Police issued an Amber Alert for the baby, Eleia Maria Torres, on Friday, which is still active as of Sunday morning. Torres has brown eyes and brown hair, is 28 inches tall and weighs 23 pounds, according to officials.

Mayor Eric Adams defends NYPD response to campus protests
New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Sunday defended the police crackdown on campus protests there, which have become the epicenter of demonstrations around the country against the Israel-Hamas war. "We want to ensure we protect democracy and the right to protest," Adams told ABC News "This Week" co-anchor Jonathan Karl, "but we have an obligation that when those protests reach the point of violence ... we have to ensure that we use a minimum amount of force to terminate what is perceived to be a threat not only by our intelligence, but also the school and college officials." Adams said that the large-scale police intervention seen so far in the city, most notably at Columbia University, resulted from communication between the police and school officials.

Arkansas Republican Sen. Tom Cotton on Sunday pushed for an even stronger police response to pro-Palestinian protests on college campuses across the country as both arrests and controversy grow around the demonstrations against Israel's military campaign in its war with Hamas in Gaza. Speaking to ABC News "This Week" co-anchor Jonathan Karl, Cotton said school leaders, whom he sought to paint as biased by politics, should have sent in law enforcement "the very first day they set up their tents."

US Army sergeant arrested in alleged murder-for-hire plot against 4 people, including 2 minors: Police
A United States Army sergeant and his brother have been charged in a failed murder-for-hire scheme that targeted four individuals, including two juveniles, according to officials. Servicemember Jeremiah Peikert, 30, was arrested on Thursday by Connecticut State Police, accused of conspiring with his brother, Joshua Peikert, 32, who was incarcerated at the Corrigan Correctional Center in Uncasville at the time of the alleged scheme, according to court documents. The two brothers have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit risk of injury to minors, according to court documents.

Missing zebra captured after 6 days on the run in Washington state
A missing zebra that was on the run for nearly a week after escaping a trailer in Washington state was corralled this weekend, officials announced Saturday. The female mare, named Shug, was one of four zebras that escaped from a trailer near North Bend, Washington -- approximately 30 miles east of Seattle -- on April 28, according to a press release from Regional Animal Services of King County. The group of zebras was being transported from Winlock, Washington, to Anaconda, Montana, when the animals got loose while the owner had reportedly stopped to fix a problem with the trailer, the organization said, noting the other three zebras were recaptured within hours of the escape.
