Police in Colorado have released graphic body camera footage after an officer fatally shot a teenager following an alleged convenience store robbery. Jor'Dell Richardson, 14, was shot and killed by an Aurora police officer on June 1, authorities said. Jor'dell was with a group of teenagers who had allegedly stolen vape canisters from a store and was shot after fleeing the scene, police said.
Ted Kaczynski, the convicted terrorist known as the Unabomber, was found dead in his prison cell early Saturday, according to a Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesperson. Kaczynski was found unresponsive in his cell around 12:30 a.m. ET and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Kaczynski was previously in a maximum security facility in Colorado but was moved to a federal medical center in Butner, North Carolina, in December 2021 due to poor health.
For the second time in two months, former President Donald Trump will be arraigned on criminal charges, this time in connection with his alleged mishandling of top secret documents after leaving office. Trump was previously arraigned in April after he was indicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records by Manhattan prosecutors and is awaiting a trial that is expected to begin next year. Trump is scheduled to be arraigned on his 37-count indictment on Tuesday and will appear before a judge in Miami.
An Arizona teen is getting ready to graduate this spring with not only his high school diploma but also three college degrees. Tristan Andrade started taking online college courses when he was in the sixth grade. Rey Rivera, the president of Estrella Mountain Community College, told "GMA" although there are approximately 1,500 students who participate in the community college's early college programs, including concurrent enrollment, Tristan's story is a "very unique" one.
After more than a year-long federal investigation, the public is learning stunning, detailed allegations about the classified documents prosecutors say were found at Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate and how they were handled. In a 49-page indictment unsealed Friday, prosecutors allege Trump had in his possession documents concerning the "nuclear programs" of the United States among other sensitive defense information. "Our laws that protect national defense information are critical to the safety and security of the United States, and they most be enforced," special counsel Jack Smith said in a brief statement after the indictment's release.

Among the 2023 graduating class at Westford Academy, a public high school in Westford, Massachusetts, were 16 sets of twins and one set of triplets, according to Daniel Twomey, the school's dean of students. Former President Donald Trump's lawsuit against his one-time lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen is set for trial in August 2024, according to an order Friday by a federal judge in Florida. Trump has accused Cohen of breaching his fiduciary duty and his lawsuit seeks at least a half-billion dollars in damages. Cohen has sought to dismiss the lawsuit, calling it vindictive, frivolous and scattershot.

An aide to former President Donald Trump, Walt Nauta, has been charged by the special counsel as part of their probe into Trump’s alleged taking of classified information, sources tell ABC News. Nauta, a former valet in the Trump White House who left his role to join the former president as a personal aide in early 2021, was indicted by the same grand jury in Florida that indicted Trump on Thursday, the sources say. It is not immediately clear what the exact charges are and an attorney for Nauta declined to comment when contacted by ABC News.

A Florida woman appeared at her first court hearing after she was arrested in the shooting death of her neighbor, a mother of four, after an alleged dispute with the neighbor's children. Susan Lorincz, 58, who is white, appeared in court via video from the Marion County Jail where she is currently being housed, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Office (MCSO). Lorincz admitted to calling children in the neighborhood the n-word and other derogatory terms in the past, according to a police report.
Former President Donald Trump said on an audio recording in 2021 that he had taken classified information with him to his Florida home after leaving the White House, ABC News has confirmed. Trump is heard on the audio recording saying, as described to ABC News, "As president I could have declassified, but now I can't." The recording, first reported Friday morning by CNN, was made as part of an interview Trump gave for a book and was obtained by the special counsel’s team.
Joran van der Sloot, the main suspect in the unsolved 2005 disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway, is heading to a federal courthouse in Birmingham, Alabama, on Friday to face federal extortion and wire fraud charges. Van der Sloot, who is accused of trying to profit from his connection to the Holloway case, is scheduled to be arraigned at 11 a.m. CT. The Dutch citizen was handed over to the FBI on Thursday morning to be extradited from Peru, where he had been serving a 28-year sentence for the 2010 murder of 21-year-old Stephany Flores.
