LOS ANGELES, Calif. - You know Hollywood's big day is around the corner when you see George Clooney's girlfriend sharing a red carpet with the Kardashian clan. QVC's annual pre-Oscar bash brought Stacy Keibler and Kim Kardashian shoulder to shoulder along with the likes of Nicole Richie, Lisa Rinna, Emily VanCamp, Eric Stonestreet, Gabourey Sidibe, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Beverly Johnson, who told ABCNews.com she's rooting for an unlikely best actress winner on Sunday - "They should give it to Viola and Meryl. Can't they do that?"
Keibler, clad in a low-back, purple sheath, skipped the press line and mingled in the courtyard of the Four Seasons sans Clooney, posing for photographs and chatting with her entourage. Richie stopped to talk up her latest QVC line, a far cry from her club kid days of yore. "I really am trying to get women to get excited about the word comfortable," she said. "I really believe it's possible to be comfortable on the inside and elegant on the outside." Though she was clad in a form fitting Ungaro column, she's pushing maxi dresses and bed jackets - it doesn't get much more comfortable than that.
Earlier in the day, stars swept through gifting suites all over L.A. Gary Busey walked into Roger Neal's suite at the L'Ermitage hotel in Beverly Hills with a big smile on his face. No wonder - their signature gift bag weighs about 20 pounds.
