The objective of Solitaire FreeCell Challenge is to get the best score in the shortest amount of time while playing Solitaire FreeCell.

In Solitaire FreeCell, you have 8 tableau piles, each with all cards initially face up, and 4 freecells that allow you to temporarily store 1 card. The timer begins with your first move. You can move individual cards to and from the freecells. Freecells allow for more strategic movement of cards between tableau piles and foundations. Cards in the tableau must be built in descending order and alternating colors.

In Solitaire FreeCell Challenge, you play the exact same deals for a number of games as others playing the challenge. At the end of each hand, you’ll see your progress. Your final standing depends on your total score and total time played.

Foundation: The final destination for suits of cards in ascending order. The game is won when all cards have been moved to the foundation piles.

Tableau: A column of face-down or face-up cards arranged on the playing area. Tableaus are used temporarily in preparation for building on the foundations. If you have an empty tableau, you can place a King there.

Freecell: A special kind of tableau that can hold 1 card of any rank or suit
