Nail the rules

The objective of Solitaire Classic is to move all the cards to foundation piles, sorted by suit and in ascending order from Ace to King.

Start by turning over cards from the stockpile to the waste pile and use them to build tableau and foundation piles strategically. Move cards between columns to build descending sequences in alternating colors. Empty tableau columns can hold any card. As you uncover Aces and ascending cards of each suit, build your foundations.

Unlimited redeals are allowed. Redeal to pick up the waste pile and flip it to create a new hand.

Foundation: The final destination for suits of cards in ascending order. The game is won when all cards have been moved to the foundation piles.

Tableau: A column of face-down or face-up cards arranged on the playing area. Tableaus are used temporarily in preparation for building on the foundations. If you have an empty tableau, you can place a King there.

Stockpile or Hand: The face-down pile of cards that can be drawn to play on a foundation or tableau

Waste: The face-up pile of cards that can be played on a foundation or tableau
