The objective of Crazy 8’s is to empty your hand and make your opponents accrue points from their remaining cards. The winner is the person with the lowest score. Match the top card in the discard pile by rank or suit. If you can't, draw from the pile until you can. If the draw pile is empty, skip your turn.

An "8" card is special; when played, choose a new suit, and play continues as if the last card was that suit. For example, playing an 8 of hearts and declaring spades means the next player must play spades or another 8 card.
