Whole Foods Recalls Chicken, Pasta Salads

Whole Foods shoppers beware: The grocery chain is recalling popular chicken and pasta salads.
The USDA announced the recall of more than 230 pounds of curried chicken salad and a deli pasta salad because samples tested positive for Listeria bacteria.
The salads were sold at stores in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.
The chicken salad was used in sandwich wraps as well as sold in individual containers, and have a sell-by date of Oct. 23, 2015.
There have been no confirmed illnesses reported by anyone who has consumed the salad, the USDA reported in a press release.
Anyone who has purchased the salads is encouraged to throw them away or return them to the store where they were purchased.
