America has become a much friendlier place for vegetarians over the last few decades as more of us are turning to a meat-free diet. And while a recent Yahoo Food survey found that 10 percent of people plan to serve a meatless main dish, it’s typically a tough meal for vegetarians. And we get it. Who can blame Aunt Martha for sticking with what she knows after hosting 32 Thanksgiving dinners in a row without having to give a thought to offering a veggie pot pie or using mushroom stock in the stuffing? This year, though, it’s time for a change.
