Funfetti Sugar Cookie Nachos Are the Ultimate Super Bowl Food Mashup

By Elena Besser

I love sugar cookies and I love nachos, but they’re not foods I would ever think about at the same time. That is until NOW. All you gotta do is buy some chilled, pre-made sugar cookie dough (#SpoonTip: make sure it is chilled or the dough will fall apart), some sprinkles and frosting and you’re good to go.

The biggest kicker here: Tin foil. In order to get that amazing chip-like look, scrunch up tin foil into a rod. Then, place your nacho triangles atop and watch the magic begin. Serve these at your next party and impress your friends.

Funfetti Sugar Cookie Nachos

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 7-10 minutes

Total Time: 17-20 minutes

Servings: 5

Ingredients:

1 roll pre-made sugar cookie dough, chilled
1 cup nonpareil sprinkles
3 tablespoons flour for rolling
1 tub pre-made vanilla frosting

Directions:

Roll out dough on a floured surface into a large rectangle.

Cover dough with nonpareils and roll out one more time to set the sprinkles.

Trim the rigid edges of the dough to make a perfect rectangle and then cut cookies into triangles.

Line a baking sheet with tin foil and long tinfoil rods (the rods will create the chip-like shape of the nachos) and bake in the oven at 375°F for 7-10 minutes.

Serve with frosting and impress the shit out of your friends, you baller.
