LONDON – You’ve probably had cakes crafted into different shapes or characters before, but we’re willing to bet you’ve haven’t had cakes quite like this.

Brilliantly named British baker Jayne McCool had been baking things like brownies, muffins and flapjacks for around 15 years, but when her husband bought her a food mixer in 2011 she decided to try her hand at something a bit different. Now, judging by the pictures below sent by McCool to Mashable, she can pretty much recreate anything in cake form.

“I mainly make the cakes for friends and family but I have now got so busy from friends of friends ordering them it’s starting to take over my life and I hope to do it full time soon,” McCool toldMashable. “When I post a cake on Facebook that I have created, which looks like real food, that’s when I get a lot of attention and my Facebook page goes crazy with people wanting me to make it for them.”

McCool said she enjoys the challenge of making something she’s never tried before. “I love the cakes that look like food and I try so hard to make them look like the real thing – I would love to do more of that type of cake,” she said.
