What Happens to Booze in Space? A Chat With the Space Sommelier
Over the summer Japanese company Suntory announced plans to send samples of its whiskey to the International Space Station, and recently the Scottish whiskey distillery Ardbeg released tasting notes from a vial sent up in 2011. Watch Scotch Experts Review Cheap Whiskey
“Breakfast is the most important drink of the day,” says Rick Edwards, an opinionated scotch expert. Edwards joined fellow scotch expert Kat Aagesen to evaluate the best of the cheapest whiskeys on the market in this BuzzFeed video above. Looking for flavor, aroma and “that first impression,” Edwards and Aagesen review and describe varieties of Wild Turkey, Jim Beam, Jack Daniels and other brands of booze. They found some surprisingly good, like Evan Williams Bourbon, and others revolting.
