Martha Stewart Has Been on David Letterman 50 Times
We’ve always suspected that Martha Stewart and David Letterman had a special friendship. After all, the DIY Queen stopped by the late night host’s desk just about 50 times over the years. In the tribute above, compiled by Martha herself, we get to see “some highlights from our good times over the years.”
There was the time that the pair covered a raw turkey in gold glitter and gold lead-based paint. The time Martha rode into the studio on a July Fourth-themed bicycle. The time Dave chugged vodka straight from the bottle. The time they each took bites from a stick of butter. They definitely had chemistry: Little Miss Perfect and the Class Clown.
“Here’s to a happy retirement,” Stewart says to Dave in the video. “If indeed you can be happy in retirement. I doubt it. But come over. Visit. I’m in the same hood.”
