This is What the New Cozy Dining Looks Like

"I love this place! It’s so cozy and intimate!" So begins one of the more amusing video spoofs we’ve seen since the world’s longest list of specials—and one that will ring true to any urban restaurant-goer.

An exceedingly normal couple sits down to dinner together at a table in the middle of a long line of two-tops. Immediately after the woman expresses her affection for “cozy” dining, she is mauled by a shopping bag brought to the table by the woman next to her. Soon, someone’s selling flowers, a mariachi band shows up, an invisible baby begins to wail, a dude-bro one table down starts a burp contest, and an entire new table is dragged into the picture. (We won’t ruin it by giving away the ending).

There’s a reason we’ve vented about two-tops being too close together before; entrepreneurs trying to make an extra buck, we are on to you!
