New York City residents are in flurry of furry excitement over next week’s opening of the cat café, Meow Parlour. (We are counting down the days here at Yahoo Food HQ.) The Parlour is set to launch with pastries, lattes, and one-on-one time with fuzzy, fully adoptable cats.

For just $4 per half-hour session, you can pet and surf the Web with these adorable felines crawling all over you. And if that’s not enough incentive to visit on your next trip to Gotham, the owners of Meow Parlour, owners Christina Ha and Emilie Legrand, are working with KittyKind, a nonprofit adoption group to help find these cats a good home.
