4 Meals You Can Make with Your Coffee Pot

Cooking hot dogs is just as easy as making coffee. Learn how to make these 4 easy meals with your coffee pot: hot dogs, spicy meatballs, grilled cheese and salmon with veggies. 

Hot Dogs

Ingredients:

-Water

-Hotdogs

Directions:

-Place hot dogs in the coffeepot

-Run water through the coffeemaker

-Let it cook for 1 hour

Spicy Meatballs

Ingredients:

-Meatballs

-1 Tbsp sesame seeds

-4 oz Of our favorite Hot Sauce

Directions:

-Put the Meatballs into a bowl with hot water to pre-heat them

-Insulate the pot by wrapping the coffee pot with a layer of tinfoil

-Place pre-heated meatballs in the coffee pot, do not include the water

-Put back on the burner

-Run water through the coffeemaker

-Cover the top with a double layer of foil and cook for 40 minutes

-Drain water from the pot

-Add 4 oz hot sauce and sesame seeds

-Cover and put back on the burner  for another 20 minutes to heat the sauce

Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:

-Bread

-Cheese

-Butter

Directions:

-Butter the sides of the bread

-Put cheese in the middle of both slices (butter side out)

-Use the burner as a makeshift stove to grill the sandwich

Salmon and Veggies

Ingredients:

-Salmon

-(handful) broccoli

-(handful) cauliflower

-2 tbsp soy sauce

-1 tbsp brown sugar

-1 tsp salt

-1/2 tsp crushed garlic

-Lemon

Directions:

-Blanch veggies by putting them where the coffee grounds go

-Allow hot water to run through the veggies

-Put the soy sauce, brown sugar, salt and garlic in the coffee pot

-Then place the salmon skin side up in the marinade of the coffee pot

-Fill pot with enough water to fully submerge the fish

-Once the fish is submerged leave it for 20 minutes
