How to Celebrate Valentine's Day at the Number One Restaurant in the World

From Town & Country

El Bulli, which was named the number one restaurant in the world before it closed in 2011, is coming back. Kind of.

Chef Ferran Adrià, who helmed the restaurant and now runs a foundation of the same name, is an old friend of Dom Perignon Chef de Cave Richard Geoffrey (above right, with Adrià). And last year, the two began "Decoding," a three-year partnership that involves Adrià's developing a series of "SNAACKs" to pair with champagne.

Chefs Club New York is featuring the menu-which includes three snacks paired with three vintage champagnes-from February 8-15. The menu includes:

• Ferran Adrià's Mimetic peanuts paired with Dom Pérignon Vintage P2 1998 Blanc

• Ferran Adrià's Parmesan Ice Cream paired with Dom Pérignon Vintage 2004 Blanc

• Ferran Adrià's Oyster with Walnuts and seaweed paired with the latest release Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006 Blanc

The menu costs $49 and can be savored before a Chefs Club meal or on its own. Make your reservations here.
