Texas governor details gunman’s online warning before deadly school shooting

SEANA SMITH: Developments on the deadly school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Now Texas Governor Greg Abbott holding a news conference a short time ago, giving new details on the timeline of what happened in the 30 minutes leading up to the massacre.

GOV. GREG ABBOTT: As of this time, the only information that was known in advance was posted by the government on Facebook approximately 30 minutes before reaching the school. The first post was to the point of he said, "I'm going to shoot my grandmother." The second post was, "I shot my grandmother." The third post, maybe less than 15 minutes before arriving at the school was, "I'm going to shoot an elementary school."

SEANA SMITH: Also making waves during that news conference Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke. He disrupted the event as Abbott was handing over the microphone to Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick. Now it's unclear exactly what O'Rourke said, but he was escorted out of the auditorium.
