Ferndale-based Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing has purchased all assets of Bellingham-based video production agency Veritas Media in a merger transaction that closed Tuesday, May 7, according to a news release.

The resulting company is called Veritas by Barron, LLC, and will continue to do business as Veritas Media, according to Barron Heating CEO Brad Barron.

“Veritas is a world-class media company with deep roots within our community,” Barron said in the release. “Barron has had the privilege of working with Josh and his team over the past five years, and we’ve seen great benefits and fantastic return on investment from the videos they have created with us. We are excited for current and future clients of Veritas to experience the same magic of video that Barron has.”

Josh Burdick, former owner of Veritas Media, is now the managing director of Veritas by Barron, LLC, as well as the media manager for Barron Heating’s marketing team.

“Veritas’ mission is to communicate well and deliver results,” Burdick stated in the news release. “The videos we create are purposeful and results-focused. Nothing about that mission changes. We now get to partner with a company that shares our values and has the resources to help us grow.”

Veritas Media previously created videos for sales and marketing, human resources, training and events for clients such as Western Washington University, Port of Bellingham, Philips 66 Ferndale Refinery, Bellingham Cold Storage and Lighthouse Mission Ministries.

“Looking to the future, Barron is excited to continue to work with the Veritas team to develop further video assets that will support our employees in their day-to-day roles while also educating customers about their HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and the tradesmen and tradeswomen who support them,” Barron stated.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
