Looking for ways to curb your spending habits? This high-tech bag could do the trick.

It’s called iBag2 and was created by Finder.com, a shopping comparison site.

Once you program in the locations and stores you just can’t resist …

… and the times of day you tend to visit them …

… the bag will lock up when GPS sensors recognize the area.

Lights flash when you remove your wallet to make you think twice before a purchase.

The bag also has a Bluetooth tracker tile that alerts your phone when it gets out of range.

And if that’s not helpful enough, a USB connection to the battery pack …

… will charge your smartphone when you’re on the go.

iBag2 is still a prototype, so we have no word on whether it will go into production.

Until then, fight those shopping urges the old-fashioned way: leave your wallet at home.
