Dyson Black Friday 2020 deals: Best offers on upright hoovers, cordless vacuums and hairdryers
Black Friday is the perfect opportunity to invest in the big ticket items you've been meaning to buy during the year - whether that be finally upgrading your TV, laptop, or even your vacuum cleaner.
If you do decide to treat yourself to a new vacuum cleaner, there's one brand that's probably on your list: Dyson. Since the advent of their bagless vacuum, the British company has become synonymous with innovative design and creating the best vacuum cleaners - but, unfortunately, this usually comes at a price.
Which is why this Black Friday 2020, November 27, it's worth keeping an eye on Dyson deals - especially if last year's sales are anything to go by.
And it's not just vacuums that are in the sale, either. You can expect hairdryers, fans and other products to be discounted, too.
While the deals have not yet been revealed, the following are our predictions of the best Dyson deals to look out for in the 2020 Black Friday sales...
1. Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
Unlike some of the older models, the V10 runs for 60 minutes before needing to be charged, so you can get all of your hoovering done in one go. It has particularly powerful suction, meaning it can pick up any hairs embedded in your carpets, courtesy of your canine or feline companions.
Now that the Dyson V11 is the new kid on the block, we expect the older V10 model will be offered at a slight discount this year. Obviously, the product is still top of the range, so we don't expect a huge discount, but there will probably be money to be saved.
2. Dyson V8 Complete Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
Current price: £349, Currys PC World
Not only is this cordless vacuum cleaner lightweight and easy to use, but it also has a powerless suction and works well on carpets, hard floors and reaching those tiny nooks behind the sofa. It is particularly adept at picking up pet hair (you're welcome) and, thanks to Dyson's hygienic dirt ejector, you can easily remove it without getting your hands dirty.
We are almost certain that this vacuum cleaner will be included in this year's sales, given that it was discounted last year. In 2019, the price was reduced from £399 to £299 but, now that it is another year older, we predict further reductions. We also anticipate that the older V7 model, which has a 30-minute battery life and is currently £299 from John Lewis, will be discounted in Black Friday 2020.

3. Dyson AirWrap Volume and Shape
Current price £399.99, John Lewis & Partners
It might have a hefty price tag, but this is the best hair curler in the market, creating a blow dry that feels salon-worthy. Unlike other curlers, the AirWrap protects your hair from heat damage by using the Coanda effect, where continual air flow around the barrel attracts your hair to its surface and creates curls without a high heat. The curling barrel dries your hair as it curls, too, meaning the curls last longer.
You can buy the AirWrap with add-ons that are tailored to your hair, too. Volume and Shape comes with brushes designed for limp, lifeless hair; Smooth and Control has barrels to turn frizzy hair into smooth curls. Alternatively, you can buy the complete set (which will currently set you back £449.99). Last year, the AirWrap had a £25 reduction; this year, we expect a more significant discount, given that it is now a year old, and that Dyson has introduced a new hair product – the Corrale Straightner, retailing at £399.99.
4. Dyson Big Ball Multifloor 2 Bagless Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner
This cylinder vacuum cleaner incorporates the best of Dyson technology, with strong suction and a one-click emptying system (meaning your hands don't go anywhere near the dirt). The head of the vacuum is smart, and automatically adjusts depending on the surface of the floor, thus maximising suction. Plus, like other Dyson Big Ball machines, it automatically picks itself up if it is knocked over, making vacuuming that tiny bit less frustrating.
We predict this model will be offered at a slight discount this year, or (as with last year's Light Ball model) might be offered on sale with a free gift.
5. Dyson Hot + Cool Fan Heater
The Dyson Hot + Cool Fan Heater is one of the best portable electric heaters. Exclusive to Dyson, it uses 'Jet Focus' control for a consistently powerful airflow, and 'Air Multiplier' technology to heat up a room quickly and evenly. It can both heat and cool down your room with a single click.
Last year, this model was reduced by £100 in the Black Friday sales. This year, we predict even more significant savings, given the introduction of the newer model which also includes a humidifier.
