Our handsome heroes, dimwitted male models Derek (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson), are all washed-up and washed out of the fashion world. (In an early scene, they’re particularly perplexed by a genderqueer new superstar named All, played by an eyebrow-deficient Benedict Cumberbatch.)

But then they meet a red-leather-clad Interpol agent (Penélope Cruz) who asks for their help cracking an international assassination plot: Someone is trying to kill the world’s most gorgeous people, including Justin Bieber, who pulls some serious parkour moves before expiring beautifully. “All of them died with your signature look,” says Cruz’s secret agent, showing the boys a lineup of fabulous faces like Usher, Miley Cyrus, Lenny Kravitz, and Demi Lovato throwing Derek’s famous Blue Steel.

Derek and Hansel are tasked with infiltrating the high-fashion world where they wreak some familiar havoc and meet more nefarious characters, including Kristen Wiig’s zeppelin-lipped designer diva.

They also uncover a James Bondian mid-ocean lair that can only be run by one person: megalomaniacal mogul Mugatu (Will Ferrell), who’s out of prison and ready for payback. And a latté.

Zoolander 2 is scheduled to hit theaters in February 2016. The original 2001 comedy — about rival himbo models Derek and Hansel facing a global conspiracy — was a modest hit in theaters, before attracting a much wider audience on DVD. A sequel has been brewing for years, but it wasn’t until Stiller and Wilson walked the runway in character at Paris Fashion Week last March that most fans knew for sure that Derek and Hansel would live to strut another day. The original Zoolander was packed with cameos, and if this trailer is any indication, Zoolander 2 promises to be an equally all-star affair.
