Zooey Deschanel and James Corden’s ‘Endless Glove’ Duet

Zooey Deschanel stopped by The Late Late Show With James Corden and joined James for an intimate duet about a glove. It started with Zooey coming onstage in a sparkly black outfit, wearing a single red glove. The New Girl star started singing, “My glove, there’s only you in my life, the only thing that’s right” to the tune of Lionel Richie and Diana Ross’s hit “Endless Love.”

James joined Zooey onstage as the two continued singing about the glove, and right when they both sang, “You will always be, my endless glove,” James pulled the glove from Zooey’s hand. But it didn’t just come off because it was, in fact, an “endless glove.” The two continued singing the song as James continued pulling the glove out from Zooey’s sleeve, like a clown would pull a ridiculous amount of handkerchiefs from his pocket. James pulled so much glove out of Zooey’s sleeve that a giant pile of fabric started forming on the floor, until they climaxed with “my endless glove” again and James finally got to the end of the glove.

The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. on CBS.
