Zombieverse sets out to innovate the genre by seamlessly blending humor and suspense amid a terrifying zombie apocalypse in Seoul, South Korea. The show follows contestants as they strive to reach a rescue ship on Wolmido island, navigating through the chaos of a city overrun by zombies. In the story, the events are set in motion after an unknown infection hits Seoul, transforming people into violent zombies.
This unique concept promises an engaging and thrilling experience for viewers, combining the tension of survival with moments of laughter as the contestants face the challenges of the undead-infested world.
Is Zombieverse unscripted and real?
While Zombieverse is an unscripted series, what it shows is merely fiction.
People can expect anything happening in Zombieverse, pretty much like in other unscripted series like Survivor, The Great British Bake Off, Pawn Stars, Love Is Blind, and more. The Zombieverse cast looks pretty interesting as well, featuring Sweet Home alum Lee Si-young and comedian Park Na-rae. The survivalist list includes Ro Hong-chul, DinDin, Tsuki, Yoo Hee-kwan, Yiombi Jonathan, Yiombi Patricia, Kkwachu Hyung (Hong Seong-woo), and Dex.
