A Children’s Theater Hudson will present “Zombie Night” beginning June 14th at Barlow Community Center.

This doo-wopping musical pays great tribute to classic horror flicks like “Night of the Living Dead”, and “Cemetery High.”

In the show, Howie, Louise, Gary and Phoebe are in charge of “Zombie Night,” the annual senior class party. They locate an abandoned farmhouse by an old graveyard, once occupied by the creepy, crawly Dr. Thanatos, who tried to reanimate the dead. Vivian and Anne show up, determined to destroy the party -- they’re sore losers who wanted a sock hop instead. Enter a grim farmer who warns the kids that it’s dangerous to stay. The characters soon discover why– zombies. While the decorations go up, the zombies shuffle from the graveyard. It’s zombies versus students as the spoof races to a spine-chilling and hilarious finale.

The show features a cast of local students in third through eighth grades. The actors include: Murphy Van Valkenburg, Katelyn Chadwick, Rylie Mook, Jake Jordan, Laura Kelley, Annie Pelletier, Jay Christian, Sonia Morford, Avery Sutton, Seraphina Voytilla, Elyse Whitman, Laela Learoyd, Saranya Basran, Madie MacCullum, Smith Hollis, Logan Carbone, Sylvia Brown, Kamran Basran, Lauren Howard, Sarah Burling, Aislynne Bedzyk, Isabella Millsaps, Jack Gladman, Mae Kisselbach, Stella Gutschmidt, Evelyn Paolucci, Genevieve Becker, Chase Burnheimer, Claire Powers and Elexa Knobloch.

The play is directed by Beth Polen.

Performances are at Barlow Community Center, 41 South Oviatt St., on Friday, June 14 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 15 at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 and are on sale at https://www.showtix4u.com/event-details/84477.
