The upcoming Catwoman actress stepped out and about in New York on Monday in retro-chic fashion, modeling a scoop-neck blue tank top and a silky gray low-rise maxi skirt.
Low-rise bottoms, like halter tops and narrow-frame sunglasses, were a common sight decades ago as stars elevated their off-duty attire with bold tube tops and square-toe sandals amongst other major trends.

Another trend that made its way back from decades ago is thong-toe sandals which Kravitz broke out to round out her look. Her flat pair included a squared-off front with soft straps and a black leather base.
Thong-toe footwear also returned to the celebrity scene last year as one of its biggest trends and is sticking around in 2021. Be it classic flip-flops or thong-toe heels, the minimalistic silhouette falls in line with the aforementioned ’90s-inspired revitalization of fashion. Stars like Kendall Jenner along with Meryl Streep, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez amongst other major names are continuing to support the trend in even cooler temperatures.

As for Zoe Kravitz herself, her ensemble yesterday doesn’t stray far from the actress’ typical standout style.
