'The Batman' Has Found Its Catwoman

Following in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, and Anne Hathaway, Zoë Kravitz has been cast as Selina Kyle, a.k.a. Catwoman, in Matt Reeves' upcoming film The Batman.

Not Kravitz's First Time As A Superhero

This isn't Kravitz's first foray into superheroics: she appeared in X-Men: First Class as Angel Salvadore. She also appeared in another major Warner Brothers franchise, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, as Leta Lestrange.

Kravitz is also coming off of the second season of the critically acclaimed HBO series Big Little Lies, so it's safe to say that she's riding a career high.

The Film Is Coming Together

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman is really starting to come together. On top of Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Westworld's Jeffrey Wright is in talks to portray Commissioner Gordon and Jonah Hill has also come aboard in a mystery role. The Batman hits theaters in 2021.
