Fresh from serving up slay after slay on the Dune: Part Two press tour, Zendaya arrived on the Oscars 2024 red carpet wearing a black-and-pink Giorgio Armani Privé column gown.

Styled by Law Roach and wearing her hair in soft waves, the actress stunned in an antique rose silk gown with a single roped strap. It features an embroidered palm tree print and an embellished bodice of paillettes in gunmetal. (See all the star-studded Oscars red carpet 2024 arrivals.)

The actress chose not to wear a necklace with the look, opting instead for a set of jewelry by Bulgari including high jewelry earrings in pink gold and featuring diamonds, pink tourmalines, morganites and mandarin garnets. Hairstylist Tai Simon styled Zendaya’s locks using Joico hair products.

Zendaya’s standout Dune: Part Two red carpet looks over recent weeks included a Stéphane Rolland white gown with innovative cutouts, an archival two-piece Givenchy look, a Juun. J leather suit, and a jaw-dropping chrome bodysuit from the Fall Winter 1995 Thierry Mugler Couture collection.

Her sci-fi-inspired outfits for the Dune: Part Two tour fall into a category of red carpet dressing that’s become known in the last year as “method dressing,” a strategy of tailoring one’s looks to be in keeping with a character or film.

Zendaya, who has long favored wearing vintage and archival looks, was also a co-host this week of the Green Carpet Fashion Awards, which promotes sustainability in fashion and human rights causes; at that event she wore a vintage Roberto Cavalli flapper-inspired fringed dress.

The actress next stars in director Luca Guadagnino’s tennis-themed film Challengers, due out April 26.
