Zendaya and Tom Holland Show Off Their Sporty Side During Tennis Date in California

The couple attended the finals of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells on Sunday

Zendaya and Tom Holland are getting cozy at the courts!

The couple had a cute tennis date together at the finals of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California on Sunday.

Zendaya, 27, looked match-ready alongside Holland, 27, in a white tennis skirt with a matching vest and hooded sweater. Her attendance at the finals comes ahead of the release of her tennis-focused Challengers film next month.

In a video posted by Tennis Channel on X (formerly Twitter), Zendaya and Holland appeared in happy spirits as they arrived at the finals together. A second clip showed the pair smiling and chatting in their seats during the match.

In another video posted by BNP Paribas Open on X, the couple clapped after a point was scored then raised their fists as they appeared to share a joke.

Zendaya and Holland were also seen in a video posted by PopBuzz on X, during their tennis date singing along to Whitney Houston’s song “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” in their seats in a cute moment together.

After the match, Zendaya scooted off to meet the women’s singles winner, Poland's Iga Swiatek, after she defeated Greece's Maria Sakkari. The pair were seen chatting together in footage posted on Instagram as Holland stood in the background documenting the moment on his phone.

Later, Swiatek, 22, posted a photo of her and Zendaya on her Instagram Story. “What just happened?” She said of the meeting in the caption. “Thank you @zendaya for being kind, funny and mindful🤙🏼.”

Zendaya reposted the photo, writing back, “It was an absolute pleasure to meet you and watch you play, many, many congratulations! 💕.”

Last month, Holland showed support for girlfriend Zendaya as he raved about her upcoming movie Challengers. The Spiderman actor shared the trailer for the film on his Instagram Story as he teased in the caption, "You ain't ready for this one!"

In Challengers, Zendaya plays pro tennis player Tashi Duncan who gets entangled in a love triangle with her husband (played by Mike Faist) and ex-boyfriend (Josh O'Connor) — who also happen to be rivals on the court.

Zendaya and Holland sparked dating rumors for years after starring alongside each other in the 2016 film Spider-Man: Homecoming. The pair finally confirmed their romance in July 2021.
