The steamy trailer for Zendaya's upcoming movie "Challengers" is an ace with fans.

The star shared the first look at the film on Instagram Tuesday, and the video has already racked up millions of likes.

The "Euphoria" actress plays tennis prodigy Tashi Duncan, a self-possessed rising star with her sights set on two fellow players − who are also best friends. The trailer shows glimpses of a threesome between the characters as teenagers, before flashing forward to a now-injured Duncan married to one of the friends while still eyeing the other.

"Dear Evan Hansen" star Mike Faist and "The Crown" actor Josh O'Connor star alongside Zendaya, with Luca Guadagnino of "Call Me By Your Name" directing.

Here's what we know about "Challengers."

What is the 'Challengers' movie plot?

The film's story follows Zendaya's Duncan as she sets up a messy reunion between her, husband Art (Faist), and old flame Patrick (O'Connor). Art joins the "Challengers" tennis tournament after Duncan convinces him, only to realize he'll be competing against his former rival and best friend Patrick.

The official trailer description from Warner Bros. calls Duncan "a former tennis prodigy turned coach and a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court."

When does 'Challengers' hit theaters?

"Challengers" will be released in theaters on Sept. 15.

Zendaya's tennis skills in 'Challengers' are the real deal

Zendaya's tennis skills in the movie aren't all CGI, director Guadagnino told Variety last year. The actress spent three months training with former professional tennis player Brad Gilbert, who also served as a consultant on "Challengers."

"We edited the movie and we almost actually don't use any of her double," Guadagnino said. "She’s so good."

Zendaya won her second best actress Emmy for her starring role in "Euphoria" last year, and the former Disney Channel actress has continued to be in high demand.

In addition to starring in the third season of "Euphoria" (out later this year), the actress will reprise her role in the blockbuster "Dune" sequel, slated for release in November.
