Zack and Cody’s Dinner Reservation From The Suite Life Has Finally Arrived — See Dylan and Cole Sprouse’s Reactions

Martin, party of two? Your table is finally ready.

For Disney Channel junkies of a certain age, today’s date (Nov. 16, 2023) holds a very special, very unhinged meaning. “When in Rome,” A 2009 episode of The Suite Life on Deck, found twins Zack (Dylan Sprouse) and Cody Martin (Cole Sprouse) trying to get a reservation at a restaurant in Italy. Unfortunately, they were informed that a table wouldn’t be available until 7:30 p.m. on — you guessed it — Nov. 16, 2023.

“But that’s in 15 years!” a dumbfounded Cody replied to the snooty Italian hostess, to which Zack added, “What if I don’t feel like Italian that day?”

Well, that day has finally arrived, so whether he’s in the mood for Italian or not, Zack and his brother have a dinner to attend. (Disclaimer: Yes, we’re fully aware that the time difference in Italy means their reservation was actually several hours ago. But we’d like to think that the restaurant would make an exception. It is basically a holiday, after all.)

And before you ask whether the Sprouses are aware of this momentous occasion, don’t worry, they couldn’t ignore the date if they tried. Cole posted a screen recording of his phone to Instagram this afternoon, showing the many (hundreds?) of notifications from fans informing him that his table is ready.

Dylan also posted to his story (right at 7:30 pm EST) with a photo acknowledging the countless notifications he has also received today.

Disney Channel even had some fun with the very important date, posting a clip from the episode on social media with the caption “Well, it’s about time.”
