"Little People, Big World" stars Zach & Tori Roloff have officially announced they will not be returning to the show after its current season.

Earlier rumors suggested that the couple decided to leave the long-standing series following conflicts with Roloff's patriarch, Matt, regarding the family farm.

Tori & Zach Roloff Are Focusing On Protecting Their Children's Privacy

Tori and Zach formally confirmed on their new podcast, "Raising Heights," that they will not be returning for Season 26.

In the Thursday episode, they elaborated on their decision to depart nearly two decades after the show's debut when Zach was a teenager. Tori prefaced the conversation, saying:

"Let's just talk about the elephant in the room. Are we coming back to 'Little People, Big World'?" Zach responded, "We are not. We made that pretty clear the last cycle."

Tori then added about the decision, "But I don't think it's been officially announced to people like we are not coming back to 'Little People, Big World.' We are done. That part in our lives, that chapter has closed."

Continuing the chat, Zach pointed out that the news of their exit from the TLC series should not surprise fans, especially after the events depicted in recent seasons. In his words:

"I think the chapter has closed regardless of us being asked back or not. We made it pretty clear we're done with that chapter for multiple reasons. Because we made that pretty clear, they haven't asked us back technically, but this last cycle was rough between the family, the farm deal, and we were done with it. We moved on."

Additionally, Tori and her man explained the factors that influenced their decision to depart from the show. According to the duo, they have a desire to create some space from their family and prioritize the privacy of their three children — Jackson, Lilah, and Josiah.

Luckily, fans can still catch Tori and Zach in Season 25 of "LPBW," which premiered on Tuesday, February 20.

Tori Roloff Informed Her Fans Of Her & Zach's Exit Plan Over A Year Ago

Tori first hinted at the possibility of her and her immediate family leaving the show during a Q&A session with her Instagram followers in November 2022.

As The Blast observed at the time, she was asked if she and Zach would ever "step away from filming" the show, she simply replied "Yes." However, she did not offer further details or a timeline regarding their departure.

Later in December, one inquisitive person asked her via DM during another Q&A, "How long do you plan to be on television? Thanks for sharing your lives with us." In response, the mother of there penned:

"I think our time is definitely coming to a close, but we're trying to enjoy it while it's here."

One potential reason for the couple's departure could be the family drama surrounding the sale of Roloff Farms.

Even though Matt had initially negotiated a deal with Zach to take over the land in the 22nd season of the reality series, Zach ultimately decided not to purchase it.

The father of three instead chose to relocate from Portland, Oregon, to Battle Ground, Washington, with Matt finally listing 16 acres of the property — including the home where he and his ex-wife, Amy, raised their kids — for sale.

However, he took the sales listing down in October and announced plans to convert it into rental property instead.

During the season 23 premiere in May of the same year, Tori revealed that the family drama had caused them to become estranged from her father-in-law and his now-fiancée, Caryn Chandler.

Notably, with the photographer and her husband's departure from "LPBW," none of Matt and Amy's children remain on the show. ICYMI, Zach's twin brother, Jeremy, and his wife, Audrey, announced their decision to leave the show in 2018. His other siblings, Molly and Jacob, opted out in 2019.
