Zach Galifianakis and Will Arnett Go Bananas Over ‘Gong Show’ Performance

The Gong Show has finally returned — and the series premiere of the reboot was full of wonderfully weird things. The contestants ranged from a woman who put a tarantula in her mouth and played a harmonica, to a Sasquatch riding a unicycle while playing flame-throwing bagpipes! But the best performance of the night was the “Married With Bananas” act.

Guest judges Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, and Ken Jeong went … well, bananas … over “Married With Bananas.” The act consisted of a married couple spitting bananas into each others’ mouths. But it was more than that: They also spit and received banana bites from the judges as well!

For the finale, the husband spit a very large amount of chewed-up banana into his wife’s mouth. He then laid down and balanced her on his feet as she spit it back in his mouth. Yummy!

The judges were so impressed that they awarded the couple the grand prize of $2,000.17.

The Gong Show airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
