Zach Bryan and his girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia are recovering after a harrowing side-by-side crash over the weekend that left the country singer with a sizable gash on his arm that required stitches.

LaPaglia, better known as her Barstool Sports personality, Brianna Chickenfry, revealed in a TikTok video posted on May 14 that the two had gotten into a side-by-side crash over the weekend that caused their utility vehicle to flip multiple times.

"I'm going to rant for a second because I think I'm nearing a mental breakdown, and I've been living on a bus for the past month, so that doesn't help the mental, but everything is just like what the f--- is going on," the host of the PlanBri Uncut podcast began the video.

"Two nights ago, Zach and I got into a traumatizing side-by-side crash. It flipped a bunch of times, everything shattered and Thank God we had our seatbelts on. But there was a lot of blood, and we thought ... we were saying goodbye to each other.”

LaPaglia, 24, who also hosts Barstool's BFFs podcast, shared that an ambulance arrived to treat the couple's injuries but that, luckily, the two were ultimately OK.

"He got all stitched up. We were like like, 'Oh my God, thank God, like it didn't hit an artery.' It was just a huge gash. We were OK. We are happy and alive," she said.

The crash took place before the couple began their drive to Little Rock, Ark., in their tour bus, where Bryan, 28, had been scheduled to perform on May 13 and 14 at Simmons Bank Arena.

Fans noticed that the "Burn, Burn, Burn" singer was sporting a red arm bandage during his Arkansas set on May 14.

Bryan also posted to social media to express his gratitude for his girlfriend in the aftermath of the crash, posting a picture of LaPaglia on his story with a sweet message that read, "This lady holds the weight up of everyone around her day in and day out. Through these month long tour runs, to my degenerate ass making an album."

Continuing on, Bryan called LaPaglia his "muse," adding, "I don't understand how the hell you hold it together when people around you can't. Thank you forever and always no matter what."

The singer then posted a screenshot of his sweet texts with his girlfriend, captioning the post, "People don't know this lady like ida but she sends me these day in and day out.

"No matter how tired I am, no matter how she feels. She's the most loving and supporting woman on the planet. I reckon God is a funny man and I pray apart from me, the world sees Brianna for who she is," he went on to say.

In a follow-up video posted on TikTok, LaPaglia also expressed her desire to encourage people to follow road safety rules in the wake of the crash.

"I will be that annoying person. I will spend the rest of my life saying, 'wear your seatbelts,'" she said. "If you get anything from me that I've ever posted in my whole entire social media career in the past five years, it's wear a seatbelt."

The couple was first photographed together in May 2023, when they met for the first time at the Academy of Country Music Awards after LaPaglia asked Bryan for a photo together.

In June 2023, LaPaglia joined the country musician on stage for a concert at Forest Hills Stadium in N.Y.C.n and just a month later, LaPaglia confirmed their relationship on her podcast PlanBri Uncut.

Since then, the pair have given fans a glimpse into their on-tour life, with LaPaglia joining Bryan for his The Quittin' Time' 2024 Tour, which began on March 5 in Chicago and will run until Dec. 19.
