The iconic actor, took to his Instagram page recently, to give a detailed update on his health status after it was revealed that he was taken to the hospital after he showed signs of a bacterial infection.

According to the 32-year-old actor's Instagram update, he mentioned how grateful he was to everyone who tried to get to him. He also confirmed that he was very ill while shooting his movie in Papua, New Guinea, however, he is happy to announce that the crisis over and is ready to bounce back to work. This news could not have come at a better time for fans because they were worked up that nothing was revealed about the actor's health and it seemed like it was a serious sickness.
Moving on, the actor also seized the opportunity to tell everyone that he would be home throughout the holidays and he cannot wait for the new year.
When Efron announced that he would be handling the production details and also featuring in a new series that he titled "Killing Zac," everyone was psyched about the news. The film shows the continuous journey and survival of Zac in wildlife, after he was dropped off. The actor wanted something real, so he had put himself in harm's way and unfortunately for him, he became ill.
Reports from Sunday Telegraph in Australia revealed that the actor was too weak to continue shooting at a point, so his crew members had to airlift him from the location immediately. They also mentioned that Efron was diagnosed with an undisclosed type of sickness, so he had to be rushed to the hospital immediately because he was not looking good. After a lot of speculations from fans and close spectators, it was concluded that the actor may have been suffering from typhoid or a type of bacterial infection.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention confirms that Typhoid is one of the most deadly diseases in the world, if not treated properly and on time. Also, some strains of Typhoid may be resistant to drugs and immunizations, which makes it difficult for the victim to heal on time.
The movie "Killing Zac," will finally air in April 2020, and fans cannot wait to see Efron in action. Fans are also hoping that the storm is over, and Zac Efron is truly out of the woods after this.
