"There's a lot of pent-up energy up in here with me," the Insecure star jokes.

Insecure star Yvonne Orji shared some laughs with Chelsea Handler about her decision to save sex for marriage, joking that her future husband is in for "a lot of pent-up energy."

The 39 year old actress confirmed that she's still waiting until her wedding night to have sex during an appearance on Handler's Dear Chelsea podcast, much to the amusement of the host. "Oh my God, I love this," Handler said. "This is the most original guest we've ever had on! And what are you, 39? That dam is going to break one day, baby."

"Pray for him, whoever he is," Orji said of her future spouse. "There's a lot of pent-up energy up in here with me."

Handler, who said Orji would hit her "sexual peak" once she started having sex, suggested the actress would "need a couple of men" to satisfy her desires. Orji quipped, "Yvonne went from being a virgin to polyamory."

Orji — best known for her Emmy-nominated role as the sexually liberated lawyer Molly on the HBO series Insecure — revealed she was celibate in 2017, citing her religion. "Before any of [the fame] happened, I sat down with myself and with God and thought, when I make it, how do you want me to represent you while I'm here?" she told PEOPLE. "It was like, okay, I know why I'm here. It's to make you proud." The actress has told the Los Angeles Times that it was "fun living vicariously" through her character's sexual exploits.

Orji also dives more into her faith in her 2021 book, Bamboozled By Jesus: How God Tricked Me into the Life of My Dreams.
