Yung Miami took home the Best Hip-Hop Platform award at the BET Hip-Hop Awards for the second year in a row, and Charlamagne Tha God, among others, was not happy about it. The City Girls rapper responded to his critique via social media.

“We gotta stop,” The Breakfast Club host said, whose show was also up for the award. “Salute to Caresha. I love Yung Miami to death, but come on now. Two years in a row? I got mad love for Caresha but you’ve got platforms that come out daily, and you’ve got platforms that come out weekly.”

The 45-year-old also jokingly questioned if Diddy, her partner, sponsored the award show and that was why she got the trophy. Caresha caught wind of Charlamagne’s comments via a post from The Neighborhood Talk Instagram page and made her voice heard. “YALL LEAVE ME TF ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she wrote. Check out the post and her comment below.

Yung Miami didn’t stop at responding to just Charlamagne Tha God, but also had words for fans who shared his sentiment. “Just disrespectful,” one user said. “She did not deserve that over the other nominees.”

Another user wrote, “I Like Miami But Ain’t No Way She Beat Breakfast Club, Joe Budden and Drink Champs, bruh she don’t got that many episodes to even compete.”

The 29-year-old artist reveled in her victory despite the fact so many people were upset. “Damn y’all hate me bad but God keep blessing me,” she wrote with two blushing emojis.

Yung Miami is gearing up to provide her own blessings alongside her rapping partner JT. The City Girls announced their new album R.A.W. (Real A** Wh*res) comes out next Friday (Oct. 20). They have released a few singles this year ahead of their forthcoming album, namely “Piñata,” “I Need A Thug,” “No Bars,” and “Face Down.” Check out the R.A.W. album art below.
